Whether you want to learn to sail, hone your skills or simply enjoy the pleasure that sailing brings, the Porto Montenegro Yacht Club, located in Porto Montenegro Marina, based in Tivat, now offers a dedicated Stay & Sail package, suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced. It is designed for learning and improving sailing techniques in the beautiful UNESCO protected Boka Bay. And you’ll learn to sail in Montenegro.
Sailors are invited to hop aboard with courses lasting from 2 to 4 days, spending 4-6 hours a day on the water. Perfect for all abilities, the location is sheltered within the ford-like clifs of the Boka Bay UNESCO World-Heritage site and ofers good weather conditions all year round. Beginners are assured a tranquil setting to learn the ropes, whilst the more experienced can harness the local winds and even venture to the Adriatic, beloved by the most experienced and professional sailors.
The Porto Montenegro Yacht Club’s feet has grown substantially over the years, now boasting 3 types of sailing boats, from the existing Tofnou 9.5s and Blu26s to include their brand new J70s.
All courses are RYA certifed and taught by licensed instructors. Back on land, visitors can enjoy a personal tour of the only Platinum awarded marina village in the world; indulge in retail therapy and the luxury amenities of Porto Montenegro marina village. Additionally, visitors can explore the Boka Bay, sightsee Kotor Old Town, up to the Fort or even further afield.
