Windelo Catamaran, the renowned French shipyard specializing in the construction of environmentally advanced performance catamarans, has joined forces with Just Catamarans to meet the growing demand for more eco-friendly performance multihulls in the US market.
In a strategic move to foster the expansion of Windelo Catamaran in the United States, Just Catamarans will play a pivotal role, leveraging their expertise in the performance cruising segment. The collaboration will be officially unveiled at the 2024 International Miami Boat Show, where the US premiere of the New Windelo 50 Yachting will take center stage. This marks a significant milestone in the brand’s journey, extending its success from its European roots.
Crafted in collaboration with architects Christophe Barreau and Frédéric Neuman, along with designer Charlotte Schiffer, the New Windelo 50 stands out as a swift blue-water cruising catamaran. Notably, it incorporates an innovative electric propulsion system consisting of two electric engines. The vessel also pioneers a hull construction method using volcanic basalt laminates, offering a more sustainable alternative to traditional fiberglass matting.
