ICE Yachts announces the launch of the new ICE62, a sportier and more advanced version of the well-known ICE Targa series. This new model builds on the success of its predecessor, offering better sailing performance, comfort, and innovation.
The ICE62 is the second model in the series, taking luxury fast cruisers to the next level. It combines the stylish design of the ICE62 Targa with the sporty features of the ICE60 and ICE70, creating a perfect mix of elegance and speed.
Design and Performance
Designed by Felci Yacht Design and built at the CN Yacht 2000 facilities, the ICE62 promises great performance and a smooth sailing experience. The waterlines and appendages are crafted to optimize sailing, allowing the boat to sail close to the wind and quickly reach planing speeds. With a width of 5.20 meters and a flat, strong stern, the ICE62 offers excellent stability and planing abilities.
Advanced Technology and Craftsmanship
The ICE62 uses the latest technology and top-notch craftsmanship, reflecting years of experience in the sailing industry. The boat weighs just 19 tons, making it 25% lighter than others in its class. It has a sail area of almost 220 sqm upwind and about 450 sqm downwind, offering a good balance between weight and power. The boat’s structure is made of fiberglass and carbon fiber, using advanced techniques and strict quality controls to ensure durability and strength.
Practical and Stylish Deck Design
The deck, also designed by Felci Yacht Design, focuses on both style and practicality. A spacious relaxation area behind the helms provides easy access to the sea through an opening transom, which doubles as a swim platform and an entrance to the tender garage. The garage can hold a large tender (3.20 meters without deflating). The cockpit is roomy and comfortable, with a large dining table and protection during sailing. Large side windows make the interior bright and enjoyable.
