German Shipyard YYachts is on Course for Expansion

German shipyard YYachts has broadened its management team with the appointment of Christian Mรถller from Hamburg. The 56-year-old is now responsible for production, purchasing and project management. Mรถller has already proven that he knows something about sailing at numerous regattas.

Among others, he was a member of the crews of the “I-Punkt”, the “Diva” and the “Rubin” and took part in races around the globe. With his own light-displacement cruiser, Mรถller and his wife undertook long tours in Europe and the Caribbean.

He understands very well how to move a yacht with a small crew and thus also the philosophy of YYachts.ย Christian Mรถller comments on his involvement as follows: “It has always been my dream to be involved in building exciting yachts. YYachts is a fantastic brand and the concept of reducing the yachts without neglecting comfort is just perfect.

With his expertise, the Hamburg native would particularly like to further improve the structures at the shipyard to support its growth. Mรถller, who previously held management positions at various companies โ€“ including in the GRP industry โ€“ will share the shipyard management with Dirk Zademack, who will from now on concentrate primarily on the areas of sales, marketing, product development and administration.

Dirk Zademack, Managing Partner at YYachts, is very positive about the cooperation with Christian Mรถller: “With Christian Mรถller we have gained a very experienced Managing Director and at the same time a very successful sailor. The fact that he combines these two talents with us will position YYachts even better in the market.
