In this episode of Sailing Nandji, we explore the beautiful Ilse of Pines, New Caledonia. This island is the most southern island of New Caledonia and it is something straight out of Jurassic park.
Covered in beautiful forrest and of course pine trees. The pine trees are amazing to look at, reaching 100ft high in the sky. Tall and skinny and towering over everything else. We trek around the island, climb the tallest peak, go swimming in the most pristine natural swimming hole that resembles an aquarium and go sailing on a traditional outrigger boat through Baei D’Upi.
You are only allowed in this bay by catching a lift on one of these fishing vessels turned into a tourist vessel. Ilse de Pins is an amazing island and a little slice of paradise worth visiting.
