The ClubSwan 43 seamlessly blends advanced solutions with elegant design features. Its sleek lines and aerodynamic profile, combined with innovative rigging and handling, reflect meticulous craftsmanship aimed at optimizing performance and inspiring confidence in any sailing condition.
Constructed with vinylester infusion and carbon reinforcements, the hull, hull structure, and deck are designed for superior strength and weight control. The single-part infusion process ensures structural integrity, while the high modulus carbon fiber mast and boom, and the prepreg carbon bowsprit—suitable for both racing and cruising versions—further enhance performance.
The ClubSwan 43 is engineered for excellence in competitive sailing. It incorporates advanced technical elements to ensure optimal functionality and precision:
- Deep Keel Recess: Strategically designed to enhance performance, especially in bowline sailing, the deep keel recess allows better load absorption by distributing loads across an upper area integrated into the hull lamination. The interior design offers remarkable flexibility, allowing clients to remove 80% of the interior for racing and easily reinstall it afterward to return to cruising comfort. ClubSwan 43: A Fusion of Racing Prowess and Cruising Comfort
Nautor Swan is enhancing its portfolio with the introduction of the ClubSwan 43, bolstering its well-established Swan One Design Circuit and leveraging the significant presence of ClubSwan Yachts in renowned regattas. Crafted by the acclaimed Juan Kouyoumdjian, the ClubSwan 43 epitomizes the pinnacle of contemporary yacht design, seamlessly blending the attributes of a high-performance racer capable of competing in prestigious global races with the flexibility to deliver a sport-cruising experience.
In this groundbreaking endeavor, Nautor Swan collaborates with esteemed professionals, including Pure Design & Engineering for the engineering aspect and Lucio Micheletti, from Micheletti+Partners, for the interior design. Embracing Nautor’s expertise in the One Design realm, the yacht is conceived as a comprehensive package, complete with a professionally managed Class.
This design ethos enables participation in dedicated circuits like The Nations League and the Swan One Design Worlds. Furthermore, the ClubSwan 43 is engineered to excel under ORC Cat. B regulations, ensuring competitiveness in prominent rating regattas worldwide, thus offering a diverse array of racing opportunities for discerning owners.
Designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian, the ClubSwan 43 project is the cutting edge of contemporary yacht design, she has been conceived as the perfect crossover: a full racer able of competing in the most captivating races worldwide and with the possibility to offer a ‘sport-cruising’ experience. “The ClubSwan 43 is the best of the two worlds, a pure racer with a stylish and elegant interior design.” Says Juan K, Naval Architect. “It would be thrilling to watch her competing as in real time and rating races.”
The lamination of the hull has started in June, while the yacht will be ready to début at Palmavela that year, with four to five boats participating to the Rolex Swan Cup 2024.
The interior design has been envisioned by studying the needs of Owners considering this model and combines practicality and comfort for both racing and cruising modes.
