A split personality, the Bruckmann Daysailer 42, designed by Zurn Yacht Design, may readily carry upwards of eight individuals for an excursion around the bay, and yet she is equally adept as an overnighter. In either instance, she will be a true performer and head-turner, as exhibited by her low profile, aggressive sail plan, and performance-oriented shoal draft keel.
The weather deck of the Bruckmann Daysailer offers a wide, uncluttered working environment for tending to all of the vessel’s needs, even in the most adverse conditions. Only a low-profile raised cabin house interrupts the spacious deck forward to accommodate guests below.
Spars are constructed of economical aluminum with carbon fiber available as an option to achieve the maximum in strength-to-weight performance. All control lines are led to the aft cockpit where a single driver can control all aspects of fine-tuning the sails.

The interior furthers the smart design features and quality components found on deck. Upon entering the cabin house, the light service galley on port provides guests with such amenities as 12VDC refrigeration, microwave, stainless steel sink and cabinetry for stowing all necessary supplies.
