Linjett Yachts Expands Service Network Introducing Certified Partnerships

It’s not a novelty, but an important confirmation. All the most important shipyards are increasingly attentive to the after-sales assistance network, regardless of where their shipowners sail. The latest example, only in chronological order, is the historic Swedish shipyard Linjett Yachts.

Linjett Yachts has commenced partnerships with a select few boatyards – Linjett Certified Service Partners – to facilitate easy ownership even for those who are not located near the Linjett yard in Norrtälje.

These are yards that share our values regarding quality, accuracy, and knowledge.” explains Markus Gustafsson, CEO of Linjett Yachts. “We maintain a continuous dialogue with all service partners. This allows Linjett owners to feel confident in turning to these yards for service, repairs, and maintenance issues. Those who buy a new Linjett are also guaranteed winter storage space at the yards.

Currently, Linjett has two certified partners: Vindö Marin on northern Orust, and Yachtwerft Klemens near Neustadt in Germany. “We might start working with additional yards in the future, but we don´t want to rush it.” says Matti Wikholm, sales manager at Linjett Yachts. “Any potential future collaboration must feel 100% right – there must be common core values and an understanding on how to operate.

Vindö Marin, located on Vindön on northern Orust, is a complete full-service yard with a large maintenance hall and fully equipped workshop, a crane with a lifting capacity of 40 tons and a 27-meter high mast crane. Additionally, Vindö Marin has 14,500 square meters of winter storage space, of which 12,000 square meters are indoors. In the sheltered and easily accessible harbor, there are 25 berths dedicated to customers, where those who choose to winter store their boat at the facility have priority.

The yard currently has 22 employees, including specialized marine electricians and engine service mechanics. As an added convenience, the yard also has its own sail loft, complete with sailmakers who can assist with repair work and sail service.

Yachtwerft Klemens is a complete full-service yard and can provide many of the services and maintenance work that we provide at the Linjett yard. Additionally, they have 240 berths, a service hall, and over 7,000 square meters of indoor space for winter storage.

The yard is located in the German resort town of Grossenbrode, north of Neustadt. The location in the southwest Baltic Sea is strategic, close to both the sailing metropolis of Kiel, the city of Lübeck, and the Danish town of Rødby. It has a team of 20 employees, including a marine electrician and mechanics specializing in engine service and repair. Additionally, situated conveniently next to the yard, is a sailmaker ready to provide repair services in case of any unforeseen issues occurring while cruising the southern Baltic Sea.
