As revealed by the renderings of the new model, expected to launch in February 2024, the stern of the Lagoon 60 features collapsible bulwarks, allowing for the creation of a genuine terrace on the sea. Today, Lagoon’s catamaran range expands with a new model, the Lagoon 60, of which the renderings have just been unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023.
To see it in the water, one will have to wait until February 2024, the scheduled date for the launch of the first unit, while the worldwide premiere presentation will take place during Lagoon’s exclusive days in Bordeaux in March 2024.
Lagoon’s new 60-foot sailing catamaran fits in between the 55 and the Sixty5, bolstering the range in the luxury segment where the shipyard is increasingly making its mark in the market. The true innovation for the Lagoon range lies in the collapsible stern bulwarks, which open up to the sea, expanding the living area in the stern. The idea is to create a real terrace on the sea.
The Lagoon 60 is a catamaran that stands out for its solutions that make life on board extremely comfortable, such as the ability to move from the bow sofas through the dinette. The flybridge, as with all Lagoons, is the control area with all maneuvers at hand, but above all, it’s a place to enjoy privacy and relaxation thanks to the spacious lounge and sunbathing areas.

The stern terraces open up, facilitating access on board and increasing the living space at anchor. Access to the stern cockpit is provided from the swim platform via new and wider angled stairs.
The waterlines of the Lagoon 60 were designed by the French studio Van Peteghem-Lauriot Prévost (VPLP), while the exterior design was entrusted to Patrick Le Quément, and the interior design to Nauta Design. The interiors of the Lagoon 60 are spacious and bright.
Two configurations are available, with 4 or 5 cabins depending on whether the kitchen is located in the lounge or below deck. The owner’s cabin is located in the maximum beam of the starboard hull, while in the bow of each hull, there are two VIP cabins and crew cabins.
