Hylas Yachts, builder of bluewater cruising yachts, signed an agreement with VesselVanguard, the leading maintenance management solution for boat owners.
All Hylas sailing and motor yachts now include three-years of VesselVanguard service, providing owners notifications of, and at-a-glance status for, required maintenance, as well as establishing a protocol for Hylas’ technical department to remotely monitor yacht maintenance tasks and offer technical assistance, if necessary.
All maintenance history is logged for future reference and accessible for potential buyers when the boat goes on the second-hand market, keeping the resale value high.
“In our opinion VesselVanguard stands alone as the only user-friendly solution that provides necessary detail and unparalleled simplicity” said Andy Huang, principal, Hylas Yachts. “Our customers are serious boaters traveling all around the world. It’s comforting to know that when they are in the middle of a passage and need to access manuals or view maintenance data the information is always available on the VesselVanguard app, right in the palm of their hand. We are also impressed with the other features and functions that simplify the customer experience.”
“Hylas’ boats are all built in a bespoke tradition integrating each owner’s taste and style with the best engineering and marine construction techniques available today,” said Don Hyde, founder and CEO, VesselVanguard. “We both approach our customers from the same perspective with the goal of ensuring the very best time on the water possible, and we look forward to simplifying the boat ownership experience for Hylas customers around the world.”
