The French Beneteau First 18 SE is a modern and fun gateway to keel-boat sailing. The Beneteau First 18 SE equipped with a system that makes it easier to use the boat’s asymmetrical spinnaker, especially when hoisting or dumping: the sail is stored flush in a spinnaker snuffer, linked to a single rope that acts both as a halyard and a dumping line. Before setting up the sail, place the boat so it is running downwind, preferably on a starboard tack and make sure that there are no objects that could damage the spinnaker when it goes into the snuffer. She can be easily sailed by a crew from 1 to 3 persons thanks to the large and clean cockpit, the furling jib, the gennaker snuffer system, high boom and a mast without a backstay, which allows for a bigger square-top mainsail.
