CNB and Philippe Briand together (again) for a new 92 sailing yacht

Following the success of the Bordeaux 60 (over forty-five Bordeaux 60s are sailing around the world), the launch of the CNB 76 (more than 15 units sold), French yard CNB announces the CNB 92, that will be designed by Philippe Briand.

The yard explains that the CNB 92 would be built from GRP and carbon composite to have a maximum beam of 6.75 metres and a draft of 3.5 metres. This long-range cruiser has been designed to be handled by the minimum of crew, making it ideal for an owner who values privacy and seclusion at sea.

The CNB 92 is offered with several fit-out and interior design options to satisfy the wishes of each owner.

The 92 is well-behaved but exhilarating, thanks to the skills of CNB. This is a new yacht born from the same heritage as the Bordeaux 60, CNB 66 and CNB 76. She shares and maximises certain characteristics such as maneuverability, performance, ease of maintenance, the large panoramic saloon…”, says Briand. “Our ambition was to push the boundaries, to go even further to create a yacht that is happy to steer for distant horizons and can be handled by a small crew despite its ninety-two feet.

CNB adds that an all-carbon version could be commissioned for an owner who prioritises performance, making the CNB 92 a potential regatta racing yacht.
