The countdown has begun for the new ICE 66 rs

It’s called ICE 66 rs, the new model from the Italian shipyard ICE Yachts, designed by Farr Yacht Design for the hull and naval architecture and Micheletti + Partners for the interior and exterior styling. The first unit will be launched in May, and two more units are already under construction.

The ICE 66 rs is built with a glass carbon sandwich construction and a full carbon deck, allowing to combine the stiffness of carbon with the natural vibration absorption properties (and thus noise reduction). A full carbon model is already in the works.

The keel blade, made with Weldox structure and lead bulb milled with CNC, will ensure the solidity and robustness required to withstand the loads from the extensive sail plan. The hull is derived from racing designs, with a slightly reversed bow and the maximum beam shifted towards the stern. The draft of 3.35m has been judged as the best compromise between performance and accessibility to the main ports of the Mediterranean. The spacious garage is designed to accommodate a tender up to 3 meters in width.

ICE 66 rs interiors

The spacious and bright dinette is extremely luminous thanks to the generous dimensions of the windows. The kitchen is open-plan with a central island and equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, ample Corian work surfaces, numerous storage spaces, and a wine cellar.

Natural light creates a welcoming atmosphere, while the modern and functional design of the kitchen harmoniously integrates with the other spaces, all enhanced by panels covered in light leather contrasting with walnut wood finishes.

There are 8 berths in total, divided between the owner’s cabin with ensuite bathroom and 3 double cabins, all equipped with ensuite bathrooms, plus an additional berth for the crew. The particularity of this line is that it will be highly customizable.
