In Sailing Nandji Ep 195, we head out for a sail to north coast of Langkawi to explore the intricate mangrove system that occupies majority of the coast line. With miles and miles of back waters to explore, we load up Flubber and do our best to get lost! Langkawi is only 6 degrees above the equator and is protected from the ocean swell.
These two factors mean that sailing in the area is often light winds and smooth seas. It is a very relaxing and peaceful way to travel. We sail 20 nautical miles to reach this maze of creeks and anchor through a tight gap between two cliffs! What an amazing place!
