#SailingAllTogether week nine includes:
– The first post-COVID-19 regatta?
– A throwback to some spectacular capsizes at 2012 World Cup regattas
– Piano playing and sailing on the Huon River
– A focus on the M32 multihull
– Some of the best Laser sailing from around the world
With the sporting world on lockdown due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, sailing has been no different, with regattas in all areas unfortunately affected by cancellations or postponements.
But Sailing.org is aiming to bring the sailing community together during these testing times – and they need your help!
They want you to send them your best sailing videos to share on social media! It can be of anything – foiling in champagne conditions, a tricky tack or gybe, or even a calamitous capsize.
It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, male or female, professional or amateur – they are accepting videos of all kinds from sailors of all backgrounds.
Their favourites will be featured on their social media channels, with credit to the owners, so if you’ve got a Facebook page, Twitter account or Instagram profile, let them know and they’ll tag you!
Send your videos to content@sailing.org.
