Break the Anchor is a project that enhances the relationship between sea and city. It promotes the development of a contemporary urban boat culture inspired by traditional seafaring practices.
The initiative is currently collecting skills and knowledge at The Apprenticeshop, the oldest boat building school in America, where a traditional Portuguese sailing vessel will be built to sail across the Atlantic to Portugal.
