SAILBOAT REVIEWS. The new Beneteau Oceanis 41.1

Four years after Beneteau launched the Oceanis 41, 45, and 48, the company has chosen to unveil its new Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 at the Nautic Boat Show in Paris (December 5 to 13).

Built on a chined hull making her remarkably habitable, you can quickly distinguish her from her counterparts by her Nauta Design line. With plenty of beam at the stern, she has a large cockpit for a boat this size.

The transom is closed to protect the boat during sailing, opens out automatically, converting into an aft swimming platform. This is an ingenious idea affording direct access to the sea without encroaching on the space and comfort of the helm stations.

The hull is designed by Finot Conq Architects. Equipped with the Performance Pack (German system and ‘carbon look’ set of sails), the Oceanis 41.1 promises comfortable sailing at good speeds for the most seasoned sailor. A gently sloping companionway of just a few steps brings you into the interior boasting airy lines by Nauta Design.
