Amalfi Coast, Italy

The Turkish Riviera
The Turkish Riviera is a gem that may not be as well explored a destination by independent sailors as the other entries on this list, yet by no means any less beautiful. The Riviera spans across Antalya, Bodrum, Cesme and many more places.

Saint Malo (France)
Sailing down the Bretagne, you will see huge bluffs and cliffs along the coast diving directly into the coast with the occasional small castle perched like a bird on the coastline.
A must see along the Bretagne in France is St. Malo. This town has retained a level of authenticity and character rarely seen, with a strong sense of culture and pride. The food here is fantastic, with the best oysters you will every try! For desert, don’t miss out on the crepes!
Islands in Croatia
The sheer diversity of these islands in terms of landscape and populace is impressive. Certain islands like Pag and Hvar are populated by tourists and locals whereas others are isolated and even have a “sleeping ban” on them.
